This installation is a collaboration with the designers Wimke Dekker and Franca Ullrich.
To confront humans about their actions on nature, we constructed a space encouraging them to feel vulnerable. Humans can walk on the water and sit under the waterfall, becoming an instrument of nature rather than its maestro.
We reproduced a natural element (waterfall) through the use of industrial materials. The plastic, direct trace of our impact on the earth, gives shape to the wind’s strength. The bricks, irremediable proofs of human’s control, ended up pushed by the nature that can’t be tamed.
